Ed McCurdy
McCurdy (1919 - 2000) was a folk singer, songwriter, television actor & good friend of Pete Seeger.
His collection of risqué Elizabethan folk songs in a 3-part series of albums titled "When Dalliance was in Flower (and Maidens Lost Their Heads", became a favorite record series on college campuses.The actor Alan Arkin played with him on these recordings.
He was awarded the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience award September 26, 1992 for "Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream".
