An Evening of Americana and Jazz
This is a great opportunity to spend a scintillating evening in an intimate setting enjoying the jazz, blues, and Americana sounds of Annie Patterson, Mary Witt, and Jon Dryden.
Annie is one of the creators of the best selling songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again. (The latter includes chapters of blues, country, Motown, jazz, and old-timey/bluegrass.) Although Annie is well known as a songleader and folk musician, she has also sung for over 30 years with the jazz/swing trio Girls from Mars. Annie recently released a new jazz/blues CD called "Make Your Move", produced by Mary Witt.

Mary is the founder and lead artist of The O-tones, a Massachusetts-based swing and soul band. Mary has received acclaim for her recent recording "Groove Duets", on which Annie sings on several tracks.
Jon will accompany Annie & Mary on piano. He is a lecturer in jazz studies at San Jose University. He has recorded and performed with many artists including Norah Jones, Paula Cole, and Natalie Merchant.
