Come help us celebrate the life and work of Pete Seeger! Pete was born on May 3rd, 1919. Many around the country have been celebrating Pete's life and work all this year in a variety of ways. We are bringing our own Pete 100th tour to Washington on Saturday, Oct 12th!

Songleader/performers. This concert will feature Annie Patterson (the co-creator of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again) joined by the stirring folksinger/activist duo Magpie (Greg Artzner & Terry Leonino).

Singing together. We will be singing out of If I Had a Hammer, a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. We have created this songbook especially to honor the 100th anniversary of Pete Seeger's birth. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert - or you can pre-order copies now to pick up when you arrive.

Tickets. You can buy advance tickets now on this site: give your name at the "will call" list at the door. Tickets also will be available at the door for a suggested donation of $20. ("Be generous! Be affordable!") Children free. No one turned away for lack of funds.

***NOTE FOR ONLINE TICKET PURCHASES: Our website has a glitch and is not sending out email receipts at this moment. If you purchase a ticket your name and the # of tickets & songbooks ordered are put on the "will call" list for the concert. If you wish an email receipt or have questions about your ticket order, please email us rasongbook@gmail.com. We apologize for this inconvenience!
