Complete Bowdoin College Concert
The college radio station at Bowdoin College made an exceptionally fine audio recording of this nearly 2 hour concert in 1960, when Pete's voice was at its very best. Blacklisted for refusing to testify at the House Unamerian Activies Committee (HUAC) during the 1950's, college campuses provided one of the few venues where Pete could perform for many years.
This double CD set includes many of Pete performing many of his best-loved classics including Tzena Tzena, Wimoweh, Bourgeois Blues, Bells of Rhymney & Water Is Wide along with a 24 page booklet with extensive notes on songs. Our favorite live concert recording.
