Hope & Strength - Providence
Community Concert to Benefit Refugees
Lift your voice in song for refugees in Rhode Island!
This all-ages sing-along concert unites families from Moses Brown School and the greater Providence community to celebrate our shared commitment to justice, dignity, and dignity for all.
Led by Annie Patterson & Peter Blood, creators of the Rise Up Singing and Rise Again songbooks. Proceeds will support AHOPE, a volunteer-led organization that helps settle new refugees in Rhode Island.
Copies of Rise Again will be available to borrow or buying during the concert. If you have a copy of Rise Up Singing or Rise Again, bring it with you!
First set begins at 6 p.m. Second set will start at 7:30 p.m.
Food will be available to purchase before the concert and at intermission.
Suggested donations ("Be generous! Be affordable!): $25 supporters, $15 adults, $10 college students. Free to students & children under 17 years old and refugees. No one turned away for lack of funds.
